The styles used throughout its construction are apparent, It is mainly Renaissance style while the lower parts of the cathedral are Gothic and the coverings and facades are Baroque style. Bull Fighting ring.
The bull fighting ring in Malaga is known as la Malagueta it Was built in 1874 and seats 14.000 Bull fighting fans it hosted its first Bull fight in 1876. In 1974 on its 100th anniversary the Spanish government awarded it with the title of Historic Artistic Monument. The bull fighting season in Malaga begins in April and ends in September so if you are keen to watch a smartly dressed traditional Matador in his suit known as “Traje de Luces” ( suit of lights) we suggest you get your tickets in advance as it is very popular among the locals.
